Sumayyah moves through the world with curiosity, softness, and a deep trust in the wisdom of the body. Originally from New York and now based in Berlin, her work weaves together dance, somatics, flexibility training, and embodied self-inquiry.
Born under a Scorpio Sun, she carries an instinct for transformation · drawn to the spaces where movement becomes medicine and the body reveals what words cannot. Her Sagittarius Moon brings playfulness, freedom, and a sense of exploration, inviting movement to be a journey rather than a destination. With Cancer Rising, she creates spaces that feel nurturing, intuitive, and deeply human.
Her teaching is rooted in joy. Through deep stretch, somatic awareness, and creative movement practices, she invites students to meet themselves with curiosity rather than performance. Her classes offer space to soften, expand, and reconnect — cultivating strength, flexibility, and presence from the inside out.
Beyond the studio, Sumayyah is an aspiring birth and postpartum doula, writer, and devoted cat parent.
