Breeanne Camille Saxton (they/she), AKA Banana Saxophone, moves somewhere between dance, play, mischief, and embodied inquiry — creating spaces where curiosity matters more than getting it right.

A choreographer, trouble and music maker, teacher, curator, and writer based in Berlin, Breeanne brings 15 years of teaching experience into their work. Their approach draws from contemporary dance, somatics, improvisation, clowning, and a growing engagement with therapeutic frameworks and ecological thinking.

At the heart of their practice is play · not as an escape from seriousness, but as a way of discovering new possibilities. Their classes move between somatic exploration, guided sequences, physical experimentation, games, and reflection, creating enough structure to feel held while leaving enough openness for something unexpected to happen.

Breeanne’s teaching foregrounds non-hierarchical relationality and embodied inquiry. Rather than telling the body exactly what it should do, they create conditions for listening, responding, experimenting, and relating — to ourselves, to each other, and to the space around us. Curiosity and compassion take priority over performance.

Currently training in Integrative Dance Therapy, Breeanne continues to deepen their practice through clowning, meditation and Buddhist practices, and ecological psychology — bringing these different threads into an ever-evolving exploration of movement, relationship, and what it means to inhabit a responsive body.

At COSMOS, Breeanne invites you to move, play, get curious, make a little mischief, and perhaps discover parts of yourself that only appear when you stop trying to get it right.
