SUSAN LANGAN
Meditation & Yoga Teacher · Sound Facilitator · DJ · Space Holder for Embodiment & Soft Confrontation
Susan moves between sound, movement, reflection, and community — creating spaces that invite us to feel more, listen more closely, and meet ourselves with a little less avoidance.
Her way of holding space was shaped long before she entered the wellness world. With over two decades of experience as a DJ and event producer across clubs, festivals, and many wild in-betweens, Susan understands the power of sound, rhythm, and collective experience from the inside out. Born from a raver’s curiosity and refined through years of creative direction and facilitation, her work brings together the instinct of the dance floor with the sensitivity of embodied practice.
Originally from San Francisco and based in Berlin since 2010, Susan studied comparative mythology, mysticism, and philosophy while immersed in the city’s jungle and underground music scenes. Today, she is certified in meditation, yoga, and the therapeutic use of sound, with particular interests in trauma-sensitive practice, grief tending, conflict resolution, herbalism, and social justice.
Her classes are exercises in what she calls soft confrontation: spaces that do not force, fix, or bypass, but gently invite us toward what is already there. Drawing from movement, meditation, sound, philosophy, and different contemplative traditions, she creates practices that make room for complexity — tenderness and discomfort, strength and vulnerability, individuality and connection.
For Susan, embodiment is not only personal. The more deeply we are able to feel and articulate our own experience, the more honestly we can meet each other.
At COSMOS, Susan invites you to listen inward, stay curious around what arises, and remember that regulation, expression, and connection are practices we learn together.
