Gizem moves between body, presence, and expression — creating spaces where movement becomes less about how it looks and more about what it allows us to feel, release, and discover.
Her Capricorn Sun brings grounding and intention to her work, giving structure to spaces that invite freedom and experimentation. Her Leo Moon lives in expression: playful, creative, and unafraid of taking up space. With Aries Rising, there is an instinct to move first and think later — to follow impulse, meet the moment directly, and let the body lead somewhere the mind might never have planned.
Drawing from physical theatre, Hatha Yoga, somatic practices, and improvisation, Gizem creates playful movement experiences that sit somewhere between practice and exploration. There are no steps to master and no shapes to perfect. Instead, she invites curiosity — noticing what the body is carrying, following sensation, experimenting with movement, and allowing expression to unfold without needing to make it beautiful.
Her background as a performer brings another dimension to her teaching. Music, imagery, imagination, and improvisation become tools for stepping outside familiar movement patterns and discovering different ways of inhabiting the body.
For Gizem, movement can be a way of processing what words sometimes cannot. A shake, a gesture, a strange shape, a moment of stillness — each can become a way to release accumulated energy and reconnect with what is present underneath.
At COSMOS, Gizem creates spaces to shake things off, get a little weird, take up space, and come back into the body — choosing curiosity over perfection and presence over performance.
